Colonel Bengt Ljungquist Memorial Championships 2016

Two Breeding stallions born, raised and promoted by Coves Darden competed this weekend under Stacey Hastings in the Colonel Bengt Ljungquist Memorial Championships 2016.

Guateque IV competed in the 3rd level open class earning scores from the judge at E: 67.051% (5)  and the judge at C: 71.026% (2) for a combined score of 69.03% putting him at third place. In the Third level Free Style class the judge at E: awarded him a 70.333% (1) and the  judge at C: gave him a 73.333% (4) for an average score of 71.83% and a Reserve Champion placement.

Police: Performed the Intermediare II test where he earned a very respectable 64.605% (1) from the judge at E: and a 61.974% (2) from the judge at
C:  for a 63.28% combined score and a Reserve Champion placing. Police will soon complete 9 years old. He is schooling Grand Prix and is ready to debut possibly before the end of the 2016 show season. Police’s first crop of offspring will be turning 3 in 2017. There are a number of youngsters that already stand out in the crowd and we look forward to the spring when they start their career under saddle.
