Competition success this Weekend

Congratulations to our horses and riders for their performance this weekend @ May Day dressage 2014.

Police ridden by Stacey Hastings earned 1st and 2nd place in the Prix St George with scores of 65.6% and 67.5%. This is the second show he has compete at in this level. He’s turning 7 years old this November- What a superstar! Thank you Stacey!

4 year old filly – Enmelada AV  made her debut on the show scene this season performing in the Training -3 test. She placed 1st and 2nd earning an impressive 76.4% score on Saturday and a 69.0% score on Sunday. Quite a lovely show horse in the making! Thank you

4 year old colt born and raised here @ Coves Darden farm – Guateque IV lived up to expectations once again earning earning 70% score in the FEI 4 year old’s class on Saturday and a 72.6 % score in the Training -3 test on Sunday placing 1st in both tests. He deputed his show career last season after only 3 months under saddle earning a 75% score in Training -1 test. What a talented young horse!

Estrellita XIX– debuted at Training Level -3 as well this weekend . This 4 year old filly from Coves Darden was sired by Goloso XLIV- (Qualified Stallion -standing at stud) She brought home a 66.% and a 69.2% score! A beautiful and level headed horse- Ideal traits for competition.

Brujo JL in both the 1st level-3 test and the 2nd level -2 test this week end. Earning a 68.2% at 2nd level and a 71.4% at 1st level. What a lovely stallion. Very steady and reliable in their performance.

Three more horses from Coves Darden Farm contributing good results to their show records this week end.
4 year old pseudo albino (cremello) stallion –Eros JL won a 64.4% score at Training -3.
Javierito G scored 64.2%.
Ulman de Pereto performed away from home in a dressage test the first time and earned 64.1% and 65% scores
Faldero II brought home a 66.7% and 68.6%. A flashy and intelligent riding horse with great potential to perform at the upper levels he will be shown extensively this season.
