First show 2016

Off to an excellent start for 2016!

Ingenio warmed up this show season with 3rd level performances at our local Aiken show venue. He scored 66% and 72%. He has a handful of colts in the barn now starting under saddle  that show similar elasticity and quality of movement.

Bohemio CDF: a colt from 2012 went to his first show and behaved like a veteran show horse. What a great mind. He scored 70.19% on both tests at training level. This colt was sired by Coves Darden’s qualified Stallion Apolo and is Guateque’s younger half brother. He already stands 16.1 hands and seems to be following in his bothers foot steps- another Coves Darden stallion prospect!

Bandolero  CDF: also a colt from 2012 went down centerline once this weekend. With considerable less time under saddle he is still a bit unstable in the bridle but shows significant talent for the sport. He too put in a respectable performance at training level earning a 60%.

Oleaje CDF: started this season with excellent scores. He scored 70% , 71.76%, 72.22% at first level. A very consistent horse in the show ring, always a gentleman this Goloso offspring has plenty of upper level potential. He will be moving to a new home in NY soon. We wish him and his new owner the best.
