Guateque IV- is currently # 13 in the USEF Young Horse preliminary standings with an average score of 7.820%. If he holds his position he will be competing at the 2015 National Championships held at the Lamplight Equestrian Center, August 19-23 in the 5 year old division.

Guateque IV was born and raised by Coves Darden. He is standing stud exclusively to in house mares. His first crop of offspring are on the ground this year. A few youngsters can be seen in a video on this site. At only a few weeks old they already show big suspended movements at the trot, balance at the canter good size and sweet disposition.
Guateque IV has developed immensely since his performance at the National dressage finals in Kentucky last year where he placed 11th at Training Level. This Stallion combines a superb mind with an athletic body.
