Hello friends and followers of COVES DARDEN FARM,

After a hard days work this 2012 summer, we would like to share with you some of the things that are happening at the farm.

NEW BORNS

We have finished the newborn season, this year we have seventeen new borns, sons of our CHAMPION MARES AND STALLIONS. Several of them sons of our TWELVE QUALIFIED (TRC) HORSES. They are a really healthy batch of foals and fillies, with nice DILUTED COATS like CHESTNUT, BUCKSKIN and ISABELLA.

YEARLINGS

The 2011 herd is now in the barn for its In-Hand Training Program. Remember we start to train under saddle when they arrive to three years of age. But now, with one year in the fields they need to come back and make their “kinder garden program” which gives our clients the security that when these horses will arrive for work they will have a wonderful base, made with love and knowledge and a lot of patience along these last two years.

ON-TRAINING

Our absolute CONFORMATION CHAMPION and QUALIFIED STALLION (TRC), at 4 years of age, TRONC II is in his training program with the Great American Trainer Ms. STACEY HASTINGS and under instruction of MICHAEL POULIN. In our training grounds Ms. Elain Lash and Dorothea Darden are working hard with several of our horses in different dressage levels, and are having success in the dressage arena.
